In the brief bio of author Barbara Hand Clow that appears on this site, direct quotes from her book The Mayan Code (Rochester, VT, Inner Traditions/Bear & Co, 2007) have been included. According to the publishers, ‘No part of this book may be reproduced or utilized in any form or by any means, electronic or mechanical … without permission in writing from the publisher.’ Therefore, apparently this permission must have been obtained by 2012hoax.org. But why would the publishers grant this permission to someone who has the intention of discrediting one of their authors? That seems unlikely.
