Dead cows and "Zetas"?

So now 200 cows have been found dead in Wisconsin. In my search for more information on that, I came across this blog:

What/who is being referred to in that edit? Zetas? Rock layers being pulled apart? What?

Also, that entire site. It seems like people there see the shift as the end.

What would you expect from a site called poleshift? You shouldn't be going to crackpot sites if you are easily frightened. There is no pole shift, by the way.

So, the truth is, according to Laura, the cows died from pink nose disease.

This always happened before. And I don't think that it is a massive kill.
Cows die everyday. Think about it: a cow eat contaminated pasture and gets sick with some dangerous disease. The other cows will get sick too, because the pink nose disease is very contagious.

But this is normal. It can happen in every big farm.

The "Zetas" are supposedly a race of telepathic alien beings from the Zeta Reticuli star system, invented by one Nancy Lieder over the course of building her Planet X scam. These aliens supposedly communicate doomsday prophecies and curiously false and unscientific information to Lieder, who then reveals that information to her fellow humans on a crank website called ZetaTalk.

Lieder's original date for Nibiru to screw up the world was 2003. When 2003 came and went with no Nibiru, she changed her story and said she had deliberately deceived the "powers that be." Can you guess what her new doom date is?

I think that should give you some idea of just how reliable the article you found is.

Others have already given the direct questions, but I'd like to add this:

Basically, you have a bunch of 2012ers who spend their time searching the web for just about ANYTHING bad that has happened. By catching it right as the news comes out, they portray it as something science has no idea about, and quickly insert 2012. Then, in the next few days as the analysis comes out (example: virus killed the cows) they have already diverted the audience to the next great 'unknown.'

So, what they are doing is jumping to conclusions, and acting like science doesn't have any ability to determine what is going on simply because it does not jump to conclusions.

This happened on Friday by the way, and yes there are people out there saying it's something that it is not.

Sorted, now don't go freaking about it, we had a big outbreak of the one that kills sheep years ago, they had to actually burn the sheep :( poor things.

Thanks for the responses and the information.

But it hasn't been confirmed what's killed the cows, has it? There have only been suspicions. The results were only just sent off Friday. I wonder if the actual cause will be in the media since it's likely a plausible one?

It kind of amuses me how people are so quick to say "200 cows don't just DROP dead" like the articles specifically state that the farmer witnessed 200 of his cows die at the same instant. No one was there but him, so these cows could have been dying over a period of time, or they could have already been ill, especially since some articles say that it was the farmer who suspected the cows died of a virus. Have there been any pictures? I haven't seen any, so the people commenting that "if those cows had a virus, they would have shown signs" are just TRYING to make this seem worse than it is. This could have simply been a case of a farmer neglecting to vaccinate his cows against the virus.

I agree that ROZ ZURKO is a sensationalistic, scumbag for trying to scare people just to make .48 per click on her pages!!!! She needs to be cussed up one wall and down the other. She is a lot of what fueled my fear about all these dead animals!!! I AM SICK OF IT!!!!!! I mean, yes, it's weird that all 200 of the cows dropped dead with diarrhea, but, how long had they been dead? How do we know he doesn't live far away from them and only checks them every few days to feed them? So, they could've died over a few days. This is getting freaking ridiculous. Just when I thought I was doing better, and I stumble on this crap and it shoots my blood pressure back up.

I doubt they would all just drop dead at the same time, but they might have died within hours or days of each other if they got sick around the same time. As Lexie mentioned, details such as how often the cows were checked on aren't readily available, as far as I can tell.

There's been some coverage of this in the mainstream media. Just Google "dead cows Wisconsin."
