Hello, I am a nobody who has been researching 2012 reading many excellent books by very intellegent people Jeff Stray has an exccellent book"2012 doomsday or awakening" sorry i don't have the exact title . As briefly as i can put it it is not the end of the world it is called according to the mayan tradition " the end of the world cycle" not the end of the world if the children are frightened it can't be stopped as we are all here in 2011 heading towards 2012 if they are questioning the meaning of life good we must all question it and the adults better get well informed about what is coming in order to help the children to rise above the fear and trust that a great spiritul awakening is coming to humanity though there will be chaos /confusion and fear it is a miraculous transition from a lower ignorant dualistic perspective of man at his present level now 2011 but has the potential to bring all humanity to a higher unified perception of life we must transcend fear

Continuing from my summary above…..

if anyone did the research in books not just the superficial 2012 web pages on the internet, if they actually
were open to hearing the many many indigineous people talking about this very time a time of purification
of humanity and the earth itself,if they heard all the facts about all the planets and earth right now in our
solar system all the anomalies,the fact of the earth losing its geomagnetic field ,the fact of our sun and our
earth aligning with the centre of the galaxy as we approach the winter solstice dec 2012 , the facts that our
sun will have 30 -50 %more sun spot activity in 2012 which effects the electromagnetic fields on the earth
and in our bodies……these facts and more all show that we are without a doubt heading into something
momentous it is a potential evolutionary leap of consciousness for mankind ….it is not a negatuve doomsday
scenerio but a great spiritual possibility that may unfold but mankind including all the children must look beyond
fear and trust it is a positive experience coming be positive trust that our galaxy our solar system our earth
are one with the higher powers we must transcend fear and create with our thoughts a positive uplifting
scenerio we will help to create it with our thoughts if enough of us choose the positive that is what we will
create…………………….The Force is with us…………..

So much wrong here, its almost like you buried yourself in these 2012 books without actually asking the people who would know the facts. The tiny bit of falsifiable claims that you make in that paragraph are wrong. Why should we believe you're correct? Of course, you'll probably bury yourself again in wooville and never return.

Solar Maximum occurs roughly every 11 years. The current NOAA projection places it in the spring of 2013, and it is expected to be "below average in intensity, with a maximum sunspot number of 90."

I suspect you can't even define "evolutionary leap of consciousness for mankind," let alone provide a plausible mechanism for such a nebulous occurrence.

That is a New Age view of 2012 - that we are moving to something better. But then the New Age believes that without 2012. Just that date makes everything faster.

The other part the New age thinking, is something that was claimed back in 1999. The Earth would become better, there would be more peace,…
Nothing changed except for new technology.

I do admit, this is the only positive aspect of the 2012 hoax the some may prefer. But sadly, passing the date it may or may not change peoples personality altogether. It would be nice if everyone in the world started thinking more positively, but most people don't. And depending on how people react when the date comes maybe people will stop this nonsense (of course, a low chance) of doomsday "predicting" and let things be. The reason I say "may or may not" is because when the date passes, hopefully the people in fear won't be afraid of anything like this afterwords. I may sound like I'm just nitpicking and sounding too hopeful, but it's the most I can make of it. I don't have a link right now to show that the next solar maximum (right word?) will be in 2013 and it will be fairly weak.
