It isn't surprising that the End Times crazies have gotten all over this.
I've heard chatter around the Internet (and somebody I know) that the riots in Egypt are the first shots of the buildup to World War III. Their basic logic is pretty much the Domino Theory of the ye olde Cold War days, but with radical Muslims instead of radical Communists.
I, personally, think the idea of another world war with the current state of the world is absolutely ridiculous. The entire world, whether people wish to believe it or not, is interdependent. If such a conflict were to break out, the economic consequences alone would not be worth the trouble.
All I see in the riots in Egypt is the struggle by the Egyptian people to regain their basic human rights after spending 30 years in poverty and dictatorship.
Just goes to show whenever the status quo is disrupted, no matter how slightly, people break the glass and pull the "End is Nigh!" alarm.
