So hey guys i've been searching on the internet about the bible and what have you.And i have noticed that more and more people are beginning to write countless numbers of reports or ''apparitions'' of Judgement Day happening soon and it scares me because I Dont know if they really are receiving these appartitions because im not in their mind and does anyone have any info on this.Like is there any priests, bishops or reverend or anyone on this site got to do with catholicism or christianity?
I am a Catholic. And it has been said many places on this site thatNO ONE knows the time or day God will come. Jesus doesn't even know. And we never will. He will come like a thief in the night. Stop searching around on the Internet. It never helps anything. Insidecatholic.com is a great site for Catholics

I always tell myself if someone was really right about the Second Coming, the one person that would know and tell EVERYONE is the Pope. And he has not said a peep. He would know. Seriously. You cant believe random people on the internet saying they just know. Thats just ridiculous. And against the Bible

I know what you mean Rory. The Church my dad went to preached about the end times with every bit of bad news that happened.
But as Lindsay said, no one can really predict it.
Everything is proceeding as I have forseen. Wait… when did that happen?
Every Christian needs to beware of false prophets. In the centuries since Christ promised he would return, people have claimed they know when not only He will return, but when the world will end. Simply put, by saying these things, these people directly contradict the Bible, which says that no man will know when end comes. Christ's Second Coming will be like a thief in the night, when we least expect it. The only person who knows when the end will come is the Father Himself. Anything else only amounts to speculation and rumor.
It is not our duty to worry about when the end will come. It is, however, our duty to remain vigilant and prepare for Christ's return as if it were tomorrow. It may happen within our lifetimes. It may not. We simply do not know, and will never know until it actually happens. Worrying about the End Times is the least productive thing any person can do. All it can serve to do is create worry and doubt.
That's my two cents anyways. I still worry from time to time, but prayer and simple common sense can help a lot. We are not meant to know when the end will be and it is in God's control, so the best we can do is simply live our lives on Earth as He intended and remain vigilant of faith.
And I apologize for those here who may not be Christian themselves, but this is my personal take on all this end-of-the-world nonsense.
I agree. And I don't think God woud destory the word he created. He wouldn't do things like the doomsdayers say. He's not like that.
Plus, people who believe in the Second Coming and spread it around believe in a false rapture which only saves the believers of their specific cause. That's also not true. God will save all who believe in him. He wont just leave His people on Earth to suffer like some say he will.

That's how I think of it. I mean, why destroy what you create? And doesn't it go against an All-Loving God? I remember asking my grandmother years ago a while after Saddam Hussein was hung and I asked my grandmother "After all the people Saddam killed, would God still love him?" and she told me "Yes." which I found a bit strange. But it makes sense now.
Hope this isn't going off topic… If it is I'm sorry.

Heh, Camping's followers just started answering questions about 2011 end-of-the-world prediction and asking as well.
