We're laughing at the doomsdayers too much, isn't that wrong?
It would we wrong, if they were right. :-)
I mean, they laughed at many scientists in the past and today we found out that they were actually right.
That's way different, since they had proofs and, well, the doomsdayers don't have any proof.
Our knowledge is always changing, guys.
Ok.
Those proponents may be about to revolutionize the science.
I don't think so. This is extremely unlikely.
I have an example for you, guys. The law of gravity. Even this law is being discussed, ok?
The law of gravity is not being discussed because it's quite obvious that there is a force "pulling" things to the ground. This theory is proved, unlike 2012 claims.
Right, "for every claim you need evidence". However, some claims don't need evidence, because are untestable. And why the untestable claims can't happen?
Because if a claim is untestable, it is just a speculation and impossible. If something is just speculation, then try again.
But wait, the 2012ers are not just speculating. They're claiming as truth, being a lie, and making off money of it. Ok, no evidence, no attention. Are we being unenlightened when ignoring these claims? Hmm… not at all. They must use science, because most claims are testable.
There is a huge conspiracy involving all the scientists, archaeologists and Vatican in order to hide 2012.
Oh, the Vatican too?
Think: if any scientist today claims that 2012 is true, he/she is fired just because of their dreams and visions about 2012 that, actually, can become truth.
Get off the past. We are living in a different world today. We accept more claims today than 30 years ago, when scientists were always "hunted" by the church.
Nowadays, if you show a good proof for your claim, you are accepted, even if your claim seems a bit impossible. :-)
Anyway, it doesn't happen with 2012ers. They can't prove.
But are those claims indeed fake?
Yes.
Jaysen Q. Rand was abducted by aliens and those aliens told him everything about Nibiru. Why is he lying?
Because the aliens may be not so uneducated. And he is doing this just for money, as you can see on the Penn & Teller Bullshit! Episode on 2012.
This is preconception, guys.
No, it is not.
The science is open for claims that shouldn't be ignored.
Yeah, but not 2012 ones. We already proved they wrong. :-)
NASA has softwares that normal people can't download or simply use, so they can see things that normal people can't see, like Nibiru.
NASA's softwares are advanced, yeah, but with a simple software, a telescope or going to an observatory, like this one, I can prove that Nibiru is a hoax. Well, I can make apply some astronomical laws too, like Kepler's law and, well… prove they wrong.
Besides, I don't think that NASA has softwares that we can't have. :-S
With so many civilizations, why the Maya? Because they indeed predicted the end.
Hmm… what?
We are in the fourth world and in the end of this creation a catastrophe will happen, as happened in the end of the last creations (first, second and third).
Mayan mythology. Nice. Ok, Spanish Guy, I will tell you why the ancient greeks were so good in many things, like astronomy, government, buildings etc. Because they leaved aside lots of myths (like Pandora's box) and they started to philosophize and find answers for everything. Amazing, huh?
One more thing: did you know that the greeks, being so smart, never predicted an end of the world?
Geryl is the only one who found those predictions and scholars agree with his ideas, but they keep silent in order to avoid panic.
Right! An excuse for all this silence… fine. Why don't you go to Mexico, Guatemala or Belize and search for an evidence?
Quite simple, guys!
Oh, go away!
