"SOLAR FLARE: Sunspot 1158 has just unleashed the strongest solar flare of the year, an M6.6-category blast @ 1738 UT on Feb. 13th. The eruption appears to have launched a coronal mass ejection (CME) toward Earth. It also produced a loud blast of radio emissions heard in shortwave receivers around the dayside of our planet. Stay tuned for updates!"

So um, did he predict this one? :-P If I remember correctly then this messes up the cycle claim pretty bad. And the claim that sun activity is supposed to be quiet at the moment. New sun spot too, only a couple days old.

One of those CME's is Venus directed, lets see if venus will start to rotate the wrong way when it gets hit.

The mass of Earth is 5,9742 x 10²⁴.
The mass of Venus 4,868 5 x 10²⁴.

Venus is lighter than Earth. Still, a solar flare can't flip its core, of course.
But the magnetic field of Venus is weak. So, yeah, I think that a solar flare/CME could bring more consequences for Venus than for Earth. :-)

The atmospheric mass and pressure of Venus are more than 90 times that of Earth. I think what you mean is that the magnetic field of Venus is far weaker than Earth's, because it is generated by the solar wind colliding with the Venusian upper atmosphere, as opposed to being generated by the dynamo like ours.

Yes but still, The CME has to travel less distant so the CME is more concentrated. And even though the magnetic field would be lower, if the Domesdayers claims have any truth then Venus should at leas tilt some angle. A 1% would be enough.
