I was initially going to say this was not /entirely/ 2012 related, but this person is pushing 2012 in their own right. Real name appears to be Tina Beal. Just another to add to the "Woo Mystical 2012 transformation!" or such thing.

Actually they push a /lot/ of stuff. While the blogger itself is still active, the website hasn't had an update for 2011 yet. Still, before someone else posts it and FLIPS OUT, I'm throwing it in the bin.

Astrology?

I watched an episode of Penn & Teller Bull…. on Astrology, and it is very good.
They laugh at astrology and show us how ridiculous astrology is. I recommend this episode for people who reads the horoscope everyday and follow it during the day; and for people who creates blogs about astrology and make up their own theories about it.

However, astrology and zodiac is so popular that debunk both may be very hard.

I'm with both you on that it's cool ,but never right at least not for me. I will admit I'm a gemini and I am exactly what the traits are. Interesting and some what cool my half sisiter whos 2 years older then me is gemini and we act like twins and when we were little people thought we were twins lol. Yeah I looked at the link for like two seconds then closed it. Oh well I see as were getting closer to 2012 people (minus the mislead ,and doomsayers) are realizing the hoax behind it.

Found out how they created the zodiac signs.

1 - There is an average. e.g. people that like astronomy born on average between "month x" and "month y". It's probability.
2 - Each zodiac sign has many qualities. Thus if you don't have one of the qualities, that doesn't matter to you, because if you fit in the "gemini zodiac sign", is enough for you.
This is the reason that many people are believing astrology.

Ok, the horoscope is still funny, even being so insignificant for most people. :-)

well yeah I know the do have a lot of traits and I fit some other ones ,but what really got me is when it said gemini are always working drawing painting etc cause there self conces about their hands and that is 100% true. I don't believe in it so yeah I just found that cool and a little weird lol =]

Astrology is the idea that your personality and life can be determined from the relative position of the stars and planets according to astronomical data several thousand years old.

In other words, it's compete garbage. Amusing to read for the fun of it, though.

And yet I still 'like' being a Gemini, despite actually being born under Taurus if I recall (and if 'like' is the right word). It's like sticking up for your local sports team, your nation, and now an arbitrary chopping up of a inaccurate calendar. Of course it's nonsense - I wouldn't say useless, but nonsense sure.

That's the point, that's inherent in their design. Read the descriptions for every other star sign and you'll find something right for you.
