Another one the dooms dayers failed to predict! Their models fail big time.

The quiet didn't last long. Earth-orbiting satellites detected an M3-class solar flare at 0735 UT on Feb. 24th. The source was an active region located just behind the sun's eastern limb. The eruption produced strong radio emissions, a coronal mass ejection (not Earth directed), and this spectacular picture taken by NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory:

Well technically there has been a flare/activity every day or almost every day recently right? It's the major flares like M-class that quieted down for a couple of days, but I think there was still C-class and B-class flares happening consistently.

The good news is that people like Truthseeker stay in their bunker because they think the end is now.
I am wondering if he takes one sleeping pill every time the sun gets brighter. LOL

One thing I don't understand is how it can be claimed that his "predictions" come true when there are flares and solar activity happening like everyday. Of course like has been said, the activity goes against one of the main claims (quiet sun til 2012), but talking specifically about the specific dates.

The Sun doesn't just go "Bing!" and be at maximum activity. It ramps upward from minimum to maximum, then starts downward again.

Another thing I do not get is that from the locations listed in Africa to the mountains in Spain, all of them are right beside a major body of water. (ocean/sea) Spain its self is about the size of Texas and surrounded by water on 2 or 3 sides. If one of the big "worries" are these HUGE tsunamis as claimed, then wouldn't you be as far inland as possible? Just thought I'd point that out because I thought it was odd.

Yes, I've thought of that too. Still, his theories are so full of holes, and some people still believe him. They probably don't question the location of his alleged shelters.

and i thought truthseeker was a good guy not a advocite of the end of the world on 2012? and to add on to that alot of my friends are starting to talk about this 2012 thing which just makes it worst before it was somthing i kept in the back of my head but it kills me everytime its brought up lololol But its not 2012 its SOLAR DEATH FLARES OF DEADLYNES which yeh seems silly but thats what i hear in my head w/e i see solar flare or supernova and yes this is late around 4:37 PM but im on a weird sleep thing due to still tryin to get it over with i can't wait till 2012 flys by… and my fam has a baby on the way and iv been telling them to make SURE he does not get or hear about this..in the end just gotta live life like everyday could be ur last and in truth with all thats going on and what could happen and does happen you have to.

Just keep in mind that solar flares have been occurring for billions of years. They aren't new, unusual, or a threat to life on Earth. They can affect some satellites and electrical grids. Nothing has changed except that the doomsayers are trying to make it sound threatening.
There is no star close enough to Earth to be a threat, that is anywhere near going supernova. Betelgeuse will likely go supernova within a million years. It is much too far away to affect us. When it does occur, it will only appear as a very bright star.

Yes, it is normal. Japan is a very seismically active land. This was a very powerful quake, the 5th most powerful since we have had the ability to record and measure the magnitude of earthquakes. There have been far worse quakes throughout history, but we can only estimate their magnitude by the death and destruction from historical accounts. The deadliest quake in history was in Shaanxi, China in 1556, with a death toll of 830,000. The most powerful quake recorded was a 9.5 in Chile in 1960. So this is nothing new.

^ is still kinda worryed about 2012 :D talking to friends about it and stuff seems to help tho ! :D parents arent much help they kinda just say if its gonna happen there is nothing we can do to help

Korky, here's nothing that can happen in 2012 that can't happen in any other year. If someone tells you otherwise, just look down the list at the left and you'll see it debunked. If it isn't there, just ask.
2012 will have its share of earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, storms and unusual weather. That makes it just like any other year. Are you worried about 2011 or 2013? If you're not, then there's no need to worry about 2012.

Yes I also really want to see the northern lights! They were visible in Middle Tennessee in 2004, (I missed out—Would have tried to see them if I would have known)… Also friends in Texas have claimed to have seen them in the 70's 90's and even just a few years ago… They have even been reported as far South as Mexico, and even though it is uncommon, it is not supposed to be abnormal or dangerous in any way.
