This is one of the many reasons I LOVE spaceweather.com, because otherwise I probably wouldn't have seen this picture. To the left you the a small dot that is the space shuttle Discovery and right beside it the bigger thing is the International Space Station, to the right you see sunspot 1166. Truly an amazing photo.

I saw the Shuttle and ISS later that same evening (Monday) against a dark sky when they were about 8 seconds apart. I also had a look Tuesday, but couldn't see the Shuttle in the twilight. However, I could see the ISS in binoculars and even with only 10x power, it's possible to see the solar panels, so it actually looks like a satellite whereas all other satellites are still just points of light in binoculars.
