Hi Josh;
Just to follow up on what Alene said…
When I started this site, I was astounded at the amount of information on most of the 2012 proponents which had already been published online. You can see a lot of these sites in the references of the pages on those various proponents. Nancy Lieder, Zecharia Sitchin and Marshall Masters, in particular, had a lot of information published about them available online that made my job a lot easier.
If there's one thing I have learned in the past 3 1/2 years, it is that these people don't stop, just because they have been totally and completely shown to be wrong, many times over. In 2013 I can guarantee that the rogue's gallery to the left will still be at it. They will come up with a new date, a new claim, and write more books to sell to the gullible. It's sad, really.
So, after 2012 goes by, I will let the domain expire, and I will let the wikidot site revert to a free account. It will become http://2012hoax.wikidot.com, but the information will stay online, in one form or another, to serve the same purpose as those other sites served for me: a starting point for debunking the same people next time around.
