I have a question. Someone said that the bible says Luke 21:10-11 nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, there will be great earthquakes famine and pestilence in various places and fearful events and great sighns from heaven jesus said for behold I come quickly,so ask yourself are you ready. And we been having earthquakes, and all the scary other stuff!!! Can you please explain to me what this means and whats going on. Im very scared of all this thank you so much!!!!

I saw an interview with a priest in a show I was watching that said it best. If the Revelations were to be taking literally like people are saying then we have been living in the end of times since civilization has been around. Think about it, all the things listed in what you posted above have ALWAYS happened. Every generation of humans has thought they were living in the end of times and have predicted the return of Christ because of what they thought were "signs". They were wrong then and it is no different now. Quoted from the bible, Matthew 24:36 "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."

Hi alri. First of all 2012 doomsday is a complete hoax. The bible is not a subject I have a lot of knowledge of, but I'll have a go. I believe the bible also says "no man knows the time of the end". Earthquakes happen all the time and japan happens to be an area that is very prone to them. This is not a sign of end times or anything like that, the people who tell you it is are liars and con artists. The japan earthquake is a horrible tragedy but that's all it is. Apparently they were expecting a quake like this for the last century. Please don't be afraid, there's no such thing as a doomsday, nobody can predict the future or anything like that. If anything else is worrying you please don't hesitate to ask, myself or someone else will do our best to answer. Hope this helps.

Hi donnell,
They have made scary movies almost since they started making movies. People knew that movies were fiction and didn't worry about them. For some reason, kids don't seem to be able to differentiate between fiction and reality anymore. I have always enjoyed sci-fi and horror movies, and never thought for a moment that there really were werewolves, vampires, giant carnivorous rabbits, or man-eating blobs from outer space. The film industry has always capitalized on whatever was popular at the moment, hence the movie 2012. I have to agree, though, that Sony Pictures went way over the line with their advertising campaign. They purposely made people think it was real.

I invite you to take a look at this website. http://www.abhota.info/end1.htm It lists many dates spanning back a very long time where people predicted "the end". As you can see, this isn't something new, people have been doing this for as long as civilization has existed.

Yes that's true. This is far from the first doomsday prediction. I think the Internet is the problem here, people have so much easy access to any type of information, so the con men are using this as a money maker. I understand it sounds scary, but it's all a lie, carried out by fraudsters and nutcases.
