So the top picture shows Earth Crust displacement as shown by Hapgood, Hancock, and Flem-Ath…..yet the second seems to show tectonic plates that are not part of ECD. Contradicting much?

I followed a wiki link after reading up on the richter scale, and it mentions that the asteroid that punched into our planet in central america billions of years ago, would've caused the 10+ tremor that obaeyens mentions.

That's the only discussed event that could've 'breached' the richter scale, so to speak.

That is only an estimate. There was no one around to measure it, unless the dinosaurs had seismographs.

A 10+ is classified as Massive, but one of that magnitude has never been recorded. That doesn't mean it has never happened, only that it hasn't happened during the time that we've had the ability to record quakes (since 1899). The Richter scale has no upper limit and it can be applied to impacts as well as earthquakes.

I read somewhere that in order for an Earthquake that big to happen there would have to be a fault that stretched around the Earth or something of that sort.

This is in no way a prediction. A prediction would be 19 march between 22h00 and 23h30 and this place with GPS coordinate x,y,z.
His prediction window is so big that it is worthless to be called a prediction.

A 3.5 to 7.0 quake within hundreds of miles of random towns in California, "predicted" to occur over a 7-day span. Considering that California experiences multiple quakes greater than 3.5 in any given week, that's positively silly. I guess they need to drag the hysteria on for a while, since the "supermoon" was a bust.

Jim Berkland is a shameful example of scientist-turned-crank, and ATS is a decade-running archive of failed doom predictions.
