seek2k11 - A page on Earthplay is under construction. It's not in the Proponents list yet, but you can access it directly at http://www.2012hoax.org/earthplay. On that page I've tried to stay objective, mostly debunking his science rather than his personality, but I agree with you that he is something of a control freak. And "groupies" is a very apt description of his followers.
One thing I'm curious about was his claim last year to have discovered dinosaur prints and to have been involved in a scientific paper on them. He put up photos on his website of the tracks but has now removed them, I wonder why?

If there's one thing that's semi known, it's that earthplay thrives on lying compulsively. Everything from his statements on this supposed ice age that was supposedly going to happen this year, to even on his so called personal life of being the supposed cock of the walk.
He hardly has talked about his supposed dinosaur footprint discovery as much as he would in the past during the current times i've been spying in his room under other nicknames. He probably got these supposed images from his "discovery" from google images and passed them off as being his.
How I became in his bad graces was a spat over another paltalk room I would frequent and also administered in. He had a raging egotistical woody for a person that would play religious clips in our room in which earthplay did not own. In basic terms, he was trying to play the annoying next door neighbor role of telling others what to do in a place that wasn't his to begin with!
After this event happened he would constantly send either some of his groupies that would record audio from our room and hand them over to earthplay to stream in his room or private IM, and or would log into his other screenames (earthplay1, earthplay_searchbot, Earthplay 2) send the names into our room and stream the audio live from our room into his.
He even tells lies about other rooms that don't associate with either his room or the wake-up project. Doing such things as calling them pro new world order room, or that they're a room that's forcing religion under the disguise of being anti-establishment. In which the room I used to help run when it used to be open never did anything of the such. He has gone as far as calling us fake christians, in which I am an agnostic for the record.
The wake-up project room he frequents in is heavily surrounded by the same "cointel pro goof" troops that engages in similar tatics as his room does. Some of the names of his most hardcore followers and admins also come from that wake-up project room. Names like sasha_869, Kev_F_Ont, Mor2be, starlette_24, red_lightning_1, and gypsy_revo to name most that bounce between wake-up and his room.
His wife also admins in his room, but she never hardly makes an appearance much. (earthanjyl)
Some of his personal failures includes attempting to do a radio show on ham radio that only lasted 3 weeks. He claimed that he couldn't find advertisers, he also claimed that he had some who said he didn't have that "voice." After a good week since the final radio show he conducted, he said he somebody interested in it, but to stay away from doing the show for 2 weeks. In return there never has been another show since.
Another tall tale about his personal life before the radio show was that he was "hired" to help design a racetrack, then he turned around and said that he was working as a fire crew chief at this racetrack called sandia raceway.
His current line and dance for an occupation is that he's in the process of starting a camping cabin tour guide type of routine. He's gone on and on about it the last two months. I even caught him in a lie where he was talking about being on the net from his "cabin" in the woods when he has stated in the past that it is difficult to get a cell phone signal, let alone a wifi signal in this so-called location he was in.
I will stop at here for now since it's like 4 am where I am, but I also have a little more to pick-up from there.
You forgot one groupie/admin - Rattus_Norvegicus - who is one of the few regulars in the room who actually knows some real science, but even then he tends to get rather confused and conspiratorial. I believe Rattus actually sees through some of Earthplay's nonsensical "science", but says nothing, for whatever reason.

The name of Earthplay's chat room has recently changed, it's now called "Ancient Observatory 2012", in the "Social Issues" category of Paltalk. He most often opens it on a Tuesday night, when he plays an audio stream from James "whining-wannabe-scientist" McCanney.

If you go into earthplay's chat room and wish to remain in there, then be careful not to correct any of his "science", or insult his stupidity intelligence. He doesn't like it. He will boot you out of the room AND permanently ban you.
Paltalk has two types of ban, the mildest is where you can go back into the room after 24 hours has elapsed. The most severe is a permanent ban. Earthplay invariably uses the permanent ban, in which case the only way you will be able to get back into his room is to make a new paltalk nickname, on a new paltalk account, using a different computer, connected via a different ISP address. (I can get back in at any time on the same computer, but I can't tell you how on a public forum :).

Paltalk bans aren't permanent. The majority of people in these rooms that says such thing is just blowing smoke. The amount of time a paltalk ban lasts is 3 months from the exact date that the ban took place.
The other thing paltalk admins blow smoke on when the ban clears is that they supposedly "cleaned" them.
Yes I know, but 3 months is a lot different to one day, which is why I referred to that type of ban as permanent. I should have said "long term". And yes, most bans just run out, but sometimes the admin can reach the limit on the number of allowed bans, and decide to clean the slate so as to be able to ban newcomers.
I just wanted to share a few new current things about Paltalks all time favorite peanut gallery.
Earthplay has been carrying a obsession over the last month for a room called Planet X Brown Dwarf Research which is owned by Terral03. I would suggest 2012hoax to write a report about this latest clan.
To describe this in a nutshell, it's Earthplay being jealous over the fact Terral has made a bigger following by doing such things as promoting his room by youtube, doing net radio, and cyber panhandling for donations.
Plus Terral03 and his room has been forcefully selling people on this idea of cavern living in the Ozarks.

You are absolutely correct. Earthplay and Terral03 have been "disagreeing", each having their own particular brand of pseudoscience to dispense to the gullible and uneducated. I'm not sure which of them is worse. Their "science" is equally stupid, but Terral is also asking for money, while Earthplay is not.
I've already done my bit to expose Earthplay by writing this - http://www.2012hoax.org/earthplay. I also have some further audio recordings of Earthplay's moronic monologues, which I may write up some time.
Terral's group are not technically part of the "2012" thing, and I'm not sure it would be worth spending too much time debunking him. Also, since his predictions are very specific, supposedly occuring a few months from now, he will automatically be debunked when none of his predictions happen.
Earthplay has found a new chatroom spot. It's on a chat program called inspeak. This is not spam by any means. I was listening in on their room through that paltalk groups link, and the name of the room on inspeak is Earthplays Ancient Observatory 2012. Just giving your great site readers a heads up in case future readers are wondering why they may have disappeared off paltalk.
I caught wind of some new information last week through the paltalk room called The Wake Up Project. Earthplay now has a three hour radio show on Terral Croft owned freedomslips revolution radio website. He actually had his show debut last night at 1 am. For now I believe its on every Wednesday.
Earthplay is supposedly hosting one of the small-hours "roundtable" programmes on Freedomslips;

I missed the first edition of the above-mentioned radio program, but I've been told that Earthplay had some pretty bad things to say about Terral.

The guests on the "round table discussion" this week included "Bob from Britain", "John from St Louis", "A Mad Painter", "Terry", and "Pamela".
The programme lasted for 3 hours, but after the first 20 minutes I lost the will to listen, so I recorded it and listened to it later at 2x speed. The following is only a brief review and probably doesn't do justice to the sheer idiocy;
Before the program, and during the breaks, they ran an advert for an "E.M.P. proof Bullet Drive", which they are selling for $119. The idea behind this is that when an E.M.P. causes The Grid to go down, and society collapses, and you are starving, powerless, and targeted by armed gangs of marauders, you will be okay because you will still have your bank account details on your trusty bullet drive! The exact same drive sells for $70 at Amazon.
Earthplay began:
"This week I want to talk about the galactic plane, and are there messages that were left for us, telling us about these occurrences? I for one think that there were. Something probably will happen on December 21st of 2012. Don't think it's a dark star, don't think that it's a brown dwarf star, or a second sun, or anything like this. I think it's exactly what we were told it was gonna be." [some sort of galactic wave].
The discussion then ranged over Fukushima, animal deaths, pyramids [what is it with these people and pyramids?!], Linda Moulton Howe [a UFO nut], how the ancients had a "mastery" of mathematics because they knew about Pi and the golden ratio [kindergarden stuff compared to what real mathematicians do!] and Sacred Geometry [put into perspective here: http://themediadesk.com/newfiles4/fibonacci.htm]
Earthplay talked about "recent mass extinctions". A guest suggested that the giant walls that ancient civilisations had built around their cities were to protect them from the dinosaurs that were "left over" from mass extinctions! Earthplay added; "We're all aware of the famous river bed over there in Texas, with dinosaur and human footprints made within hours or most certainly days of each other."

Earthplay: "sure, we have been approaching what would be called perigee."

Earthplay: "this is both the beginning and the end of the precession of the equinox."
Wrong on every level;
The Earth, Sun and galactic plane line up EVERY YEAR. Precession only changes the day of the year on which this alignment happens. The alignment is an annual event of no consequence.
We are NOT passing through the galactic plane. Measurements by astronomers show that we are many light years above the plane and have been moving away from it for millions of years.
And precession has no beginning or end, it is a continuous drift of the direction in which the Earths axis points (draw a small circle in the air with your nose, that is a similar type of motion to Precession) it is a local motion which has NOTHING to do with the galactic plane or the galactic centre.
And finally, "perigee" applies to the orbit of a body, such as the Moon, when it is nearest to the Earth - it is not "the midway point", nor has it anything to do with our relationship to the galactic plane. These people constantly throw around technical terms in this way with no grasp of their meaning.
Guest: "so this crossing of the galactic plane is like switching, you know, we're switching sides of the magnet, passing from one side to the other, and I think that maybe our planet might also attempt to align itself magnetically as we pass though one side of this field to the other side of the field, with those magnetic forces of our galaxy as we pass through."
All moot, since we are not crossing the plane. And he has no quantitative grasp of magnetic forces.
Earthplay: "all academics, scientists and astronomers would all agree that the Mayan calendar is astronomically and mathematically perfect, that it calculates closer than our best computers."
Wrong again.

And "our best computers" and calculations are FAR more accurate than anything the Maya could ever dream of. We now adjust to an accuracy of leap seconds, let alone leap years, and our references, atomic clocks, are accurate to one second in more than 138 million years!
Earthplay: "I actually believe something is coming. And it's not like a planet or a second Sun. I think it's more like a galactic wind, right. We've all heard of the winds of Jupiter, right, that affect the Earth when we come into a full alignment to it, right?"

Bob from Britain then rambled on incoherently about magnetic fields - "energies" that have been "building up" - "where does the energy dissipate" - "everything is connected" - and then he made this classic remark:- "Quarks and Quasars, I can never remember which ones travel through us undeviated". He meant Neutrinos. This was like confusing apples with steaks when you really meant peas! A brilliant example of the befuddled mental world these people inhabit.
The first hour ended with Earthplay asking for donations to Freedomslips Radio.
Then "Pamela" joined the panel with her New Age drivel - how there are 12 "frequencies" that humans can tune into - how the pyramids are "energy transfer stations" - past lives - mother earth - blah, blah.
Then came a long discussion about the Apollo Moon landing, with Earthplay claiming that they could never have made it through the Van Allen belts. Wrong! We know exactly how they made it through: http://www.clavius.org/envrad.html
Earthplay then claimed that humans "cannot survive outside of Earth's magnetic field". I hereby challenge him to provide any evidence for this.

So, I work in the digital storage industry (specifically HDD, NAND Flash analytics) and I can tell you with 100% certainty that whom ever said there is an "EMP Proof" Device they are selling you snakeoil. Especially with flash drives, they would have had to invent a magnetic proof casing for the PCB and NAND to sit, but it would still fry the inner components of the USB circuitry since there are sensitive connectors in the USB casing.
I've been watching for about a year now since my little brother decided to drop out of high school because of 2012. I saw these frauds start to step into my realm of storage and that was the last straw, I had to say this!
