I have read and see how people recently links natural phenomena, wars and "rare" things with the 2012 theory. I'm in a struggle with myself, but I'm 60% sure that nothing will happen, but the other 40% is no that sure.
Well, what are you 40% concerned about happening? Pretty much every claim out there is dealt with on this website. If we missed something, all you have to do is say so, and somebody will look into it.
This is nothing new, swine flu was linked to 2012 aswell. They only do this, because all other theories either has been debunked, or are too stupid to believe in. Whenever theres a new catastrophe that people link to 2012, there's people to debunk these. Recently they tend to be alot around earthquackes, and that these has been going up the last few years, and we've never seen anything like it before, and uuuhh and oooh.. Well, please tell me what is this then?
Until you see some evidence on all this, you really have no reason to be worried. I've seen alot of "And astronomers confirms this!" lately. Never which astronomers, just astronomers, and that is bs, when in fact astronomers are saying the exact opposite.
- “I fear one day I'll meet God, he'll sneeze and I won't know what to say.”
Sigh. Ok, here goes. What about the 1st and 2nd world war? What about the Cuban missile crisis? They happened many years ago, did we link that to the end of the world? Get this into your head. Wars happen. Natural disasters happen. That's life, that's the world we live in. There is only one realistic scenario that could end all life on earth. Do you know what that is? An asteroid collision. Yep, that's the only thing that has ever caused mass extinction on our planet. Not solar flares, not pole reversals, not imaginary planets, not planetary alignments. That's it, asteroids. Nothing is heading our direction, certainly not in a way that could hit us in 2012. Ok? If your scared, don't be. This whole 2012 thing is based on the Mayan calendar, and every single person who knows anything about them, tells us that the mayans never ever predicted a catastrophe or change at all in 2012. It's all complete pseudoscientific superstitious crap.
