so i just watched the movie knowing and its pretty much like a event than end of the world kinda stuff i liked the movie since it was a normal disaster type of movie than the earth dies by solar flare but were not gonna get 1 in 2012 explained on this site but i got quastions since the movie was made in 2009 and on the movie there were news talkin about gulf of mexico spill explosion strange since it heppand on 2010 and movie was 2009

This has been brought up before believe it or not. There is a couple problems with this. The majority of the oil platforms in the U.S. are in the Gulf of Mexico I believe. The BP spill was in 2010, this is true, but this was in no way the first incident on a oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico. That part of the movie, it wasn't even a spill, it was just a fire on a oil rig from what I remember.

There have been a number of oil rig explosions and spills in the Gulf of Mexico. There was one in October 2007. That might be the one they were talking about in the movie. I only watched it once and don't remember that part.

I liked the movie but did not like the way they put the bible into it because i dont want anybody thinking that someone got a peice of paper with numbers lol from god,

the time and day no one knows not even the freaky girl from the movie knowing but only god.

What kinda freaked me about the movie was because numbers predicted all these things wich gets me thinking about numerology since i know this is reality and thats well fantasty doesent it make you guys scared espacially with all the 11-11-11 kinda stuff even though 11-11-11 oficaily comes every 100 years with nothin heppanin, remember jun 2006 … nothin heppand.

Me too, but mine have some sense. Quadratic equations are not random numbers.
