Ok, I decided to create this thread so I don't clog up other threads with posts on this subject. I'll put my cards on the table, I have suffered anxiety since the age of 12, I'm 26 now and I occasionally still get dragged down by it. However, over the years iv had great advice from medical personnel on dealing with anxiety and cognitive behaviour. If anyone needs advice on the subject, be it how to deal with a certain fear, or what to expect when going to see a doctor or phsycologist about anxiety issues, I'd be more than happy to tell them about my experiences and what worked for me.
The great thing about science is, it's true whether you believe in it or not.
