Awesomeee, I find it really odd that you can understand what the doomsayers are saying, and you can hunt such false information down with reckless abandon, but you can't understand some pretty layman-friendly explanations of what is wrong with those claim. But all right, I'll explain this to you one more time. However, you're going to have to stop going to places that fill your head with nonsense. I have no idea what websites you've been getting so much garbage from, but you have to stop going to them. There's going to come a point where people start to lose patience. I think a lot of us are already there.
Now, about the "ribbon"….
The IBEX survey discovered an unexpected band of what we call energetic neutral atoms way out in the solar system, and this suggests that our stellar neighborhood might interact with the interstellar medium (the region between stars) in a different way than previously thought. Within this interstellar medium, we are currently inside what is called the local interstellar cloud (the "local fluff"). We've been in this cloud for many thousands of years and will likely be in it for tens of thousands more. We're not moving into any kind of ribbon or new cloud. The ribbon is a result of our Solar System's interaction with the interstellar medium. As the Solar System moves, the ribbon moves, and it's very far away from us, at the edge of the Solar System itself. It isn't dangerous. Doomsayers just latch onto any new discovery and try to turn it into something catastrophic. Ignore them.
