And I better edit this to say that response video may contain strong language, I can't recall, it has been weeks since I watched it.

I just wasted over 16 minutes watching a BS artist pull utter nonsense out of his……out of the air. His conclusions are beyond ridiculous. He starts out with the tiny comet Elenin and turns it into nothing less than a star system moving through our Solar System!
There wasn't a single credible statement in that video. Von Helton has no idea what he's talking about. I watched SecularOpinions response posted by Elliott. He does a good job of tearing Von Helton's BS apart. Warning, some profanity.

I have never watched any of Von Helton's videos before, but now I can safely say that he is a conspiracy nutbag who has no idea of how anything in the Universe works. Maybe he thinks his little song at the end will catapult him to stardom.

And the guy claims stuff like the comet being nemesis , and being a slow comet , so LOL at that , and that planets are getting hotter

VonHelton must use real science, first. All I can say is that he doesn't use real science at all. So, why trust him if you know, we know, everybody should know, that Elenin doesn't even come close to Earth. Would you say that he's a very wise person which knows what the astronomers don't know about Comet Elenin?
Read older threads about Elenin, debunked over and over again here, and you will understand what's happening with it and why there is no reason to worry about Elenin. ;-)

Awesomeee, I posted a link earlier that directly addresses the video. Even Juju's response is sufficient - you've linked to a video from frankly a nutter who couldn't tell you what science was if it slapped him in the face. And that's one of the kinder statements you could make about him.

You do not need a scientific debunking of the video. In fact, you've probably already read what you need to know on the forums, the likes of Elenin only being 3-4km in diameter, the fact that if it were a much larger object there would be insanely noticeable differences in what we see in the sky (which, lo and behold, nobody see's. I wonder why that is? G'ment cover up? No. Laws of physics? Oh yeah, them.)

There is nothing more to add, unless you want this to turn into a 'Why VonHelton is ridiculous' thread.

Maybe it's some sort of unfair prejudice on my part, but I see this guy's face/setup and his intro (which includes the old FBI copyright screen I haven't seen since VHS days and clips from mad max), and the idea of ever taking him seriously immediately dissipates.
