Summary:

I know this is a 2012 website and this hasnt much to do with it. But WW3 could easily happen, and if it does, wouldn't it be as bad as anything else?

I'm having more difficulty thinking about the world's governments than ANYTHING else.

Heres a link about safe havens if there was a WW3.
Can I get EVIDENCE why a WW3 wouldn't happen, if there is any.

I think the Government downfall with the spending and the money crisis around the world is very real.

I'm 16. What am I heading into?

Also as everyone knows the national dept has been climbing for 30 years. I know your not economists, but can we tlak about that a little?

The biggest reason I'm asking these quesitons is because William Hudson hasn't replied to my emails for almost a month.

Is it possible to start a government and economy thread option on the forums?
Honestly I know it isn't directly related with 2012, but this is one of the only websites I feel comfertable talking about serious things in general because I fear every other site will be promoting conspiracies on it.

I don't feel like as though the issues would take away from the websites main point/objective.

The James Randi forums are more open to different types of topics. This website is about 2012. The government nor the economy have anything to do with 2012, since the Maya would obviously have no way of predicting anything of our leadership, currencies, or conflicts today. If they could, than they wouldn't have had their own downfall.

WW3 could have happened back in the 60s.
But nowadays it is near zero.

You might have local conflicts, especially in the poor countries.

A World War III happening is even less of a possibility than it was before. Mainly because countries are now aware of the importance of international cooperation. Should any wars attempt to break loose, then the United Nations will try to stop it diplomatically. (I mean that's why they were even started) Second, should the American economy fail, (a remote possibility) then there are worldwide agencies designed to help a country get back on its feet.

I don't think countries like china that own more than 1 trillion dollars of U.S. would want to help rebuild our economy. If we don't do someting major to change our countries policies, by 2060 our national debt will be 600% of our GDP, I'm pretty sure that is very bad.

You can't debunk war from happening. That's ludicrous. But it's definite that the odds of WWIII are far less than WWI and WWII.

It's not worth it, and people understand that.

After the WWII and WWI, could the world start another war without even considering the possibility of avoid it to a civilized deal between the countries? I don't think so.
First, the consequences of the WWs are very bad to all the world. Second, after the war ends, the countries still hate each other. Therefore, it doesn't solve anything.
I don't think they would commit the same mistake as before.
