This H.C. fiasco has served a good purpose for my mind. There was a time not long ago where through my anxious mind I was obsessed with PG because he was "so sure", as you all have heard numerous times. He has people who believe him, how could he be wrong, right? I have been thinking recently and have used H.C. to put this into perspective. Here is a man who has already been wrong and is predicting the same thing he has already been wrong about, yet he has a good number of people who follow him and push his message through various means and they believe him wholeheartedly. I guess it is a testament to the gullible nature of a lot of humans, that they would put all their lives and faith into somebody who has already been wrong before. I read in a news report that a man spent his whole life savings to advertise for May 21st, his WHOLE LIFE SAVINGS. Before I wondered why, if PG was wrong, would people give him money or join some group. Here I see though that somebody has spent every penny to their name for advertising for a man who has already been wrong before, and I think, well it makes more sense now. I think H.C. even has more members/supporters/followers than PG does from what it seems. The following quote is from a news story of an interview of one of H.C.'s followers.
When asked what he’ll do if May 22 comes and goes quietly, he said that was a thought he couldn’t fathom. “It's like death and taxes," he said. "It's going to happen."
Sounds familiar right? That "can't be wrong" attitude that scared me and James so much. That quote from the PG interview on his page on this site. How does it sound, the same exact thing coming from a H.C. follower? To me it just proves that the ignorant are the ones full of themselves, so sure, whereas the intelligent people are the ones full of doubts.
