Yes, they will every single article that has just a single sentence that even vaguely supports their views (even if, more often than not, the article proponents pick tends to say the opposite…) - it's the way proponents work.
You might even go so far as to say someone will use this as evidence Nibiru/Planet X exists, despite it showing no such evidence, and you'll probably see one or two using the 'they're telling us this to soften the blow of when it's revealed in full', which is about the same as saying 'I really, really, really hope this fits in with my wacky theory'.
