Does anyone know what Patrick Geryl means by "negative sunspots"?

Patrick Geryl seems to claim that he can predict "negative sunspots". I was wondering what he meant by this term. Were any of the sunspots he claims to have predicted "negative"?

Sorry I keep bringing this guy up, I just still can't get him out of my head.

No, nobody knows what he means. He coined that term himself. He used to say he was predicting solar flares. Now it is sunspots. What he is ignoring is that not all sunspots produce flares or CME's. He seems to think the Maya were able to see these sunspots. Please someone explain how the Maya, without telescopes, could see enough sunspots to record them and make observations. Let alone what polarity they were! That is just absolute nonsense! The only time they would even be able to maybe see them, would be during a thick haze. Even then, it would be extremely painful to look at the sun.

You can watch big sun spots when the sun is low and if you have very good eye sight. You can also use something like a sun glass to reduce the light. Maybe a veil or something?

It doesn't matter. The maya only lived in one area of the world. They wouldn't have seen the sun for at least 10-12 hours a day at some points of the year. It would be impossible to record sunspots to a perfect precision better than our scientists today who have visibility 24 hours a day from SOHO and other areas around the world. And that still doesn't help the case of polarity. Especially in an area that is comprised of mostly limestone.
