I really do like this site, so I wanna help you with my opinion. If you want people to know that 2012 doomsday is a hoax, you need to divulge this site. So less people will get worried about this hoax.
Don't hesitate, do it to reduce the panic because the lies are scaring people everywhere. There are more sites supporting the claims than sites debunking the claims. This needs to change or we will have a chaos in 2012.
Probably, I won't be back, so I leave this question to you. Do you want to stay fameless or want to be more popular?

I agree with you, I think we need to divulge our site by the Internet and by the people. That's why I recommend this site when possible.
If Astrogeek or others want to make something bigger, I don't know, I'd appreciate too.

The trends have seemingly always been on the up, and are certainly much larger than I ever thought they were, and I can only imagine the likes of Harold Camping has added to that quite a bit.

Some of our pages, notably the proponent pages, the likes of the Patrick Geryl, Raymond Mardyks and Marshall Masters, occur on the first page of Google results for their names, often in the top 5, sometimes even the first hit. Seeing a webpage critical of the very thing you search for ought to do something for those who are unsure.

Couple that with more than enough name drops on the likes of Yahoo Answers and good ol' YouTube and you start to realize just how much traffic there is with absolutely no real advertising necessary.

I doubt that the intention for this is to be famous.
It should spark other people interest and learn some physics and astronomy and start their own pages to spread the real scientific knowledge. It is dangerous to have it concentrated to one point because a DoS can take it out.

I'm not sure what you mean by "divulge this site". We have no income, which means that we depend entirely on referrals. Even so, we're not doing too bad.
