Ok so I've read your whole website (which I'm grateful for providing the truth) and I know there's a huge change 2012 will not happen. And the May 21 didn't happen. I often ask my religious friends what they think and they all say that they don't believe in 2012 because in the bible it says no one will know. And my family all don't believe it. But I guess just hearing people actually believe it makes me doubt sometime. And sometimes I'll randomly worry about 2012. Severe weather on the news, global warming, economic problems, and the ecosystem problems don't really help calming me. It's like I hope it really doesn't happen but I'm still scared. I'm worried about not actually living long and having a family and all that because I'm gonna be a senior in 2012. I just want to know if there is a way to calm down and not worry.

I was scared like that too, it's only natural to worry about something that you don't know. Do i know when I'll die, no, will you, no. Then what difference does it make to worry about a hoax just for people to worry about their deaths, it's sick. As for the weather, It's common and especially during this season because, like JuJu or Obi said (I forget who) it's La Nina. Google it and you'll find out that these storms are natural. Economies have always dwindled and there have been predictions that powerful economies would fail many times, cough cough USA. Just take a step back and look at the bigger picture and realize each day could be your last, I mean, we all live to die. ;)

Hi Lizzie,
The main thing to remember is that there isn't a single thing to make 2012 any different from any other year. There is no reason for anything out of the ordinary to happen in 2012. Since you have read the whole site, you lnow that all the 2012 claims were made up by delusional people and hoaxers, and that they aren't possible, except for those that happen routinely and aren't harmful to us.
There is simply no reason to worry about a year just because a bunch of crackpots made it up for their previous hoaxes, then adopted 2012 as their new date when the previous ones failed.

I can't help but every time I read or hear something about 2012 I get scared again thinking that something is actually gonna happen but then I look back at this website and I calm myself down a little. i guess until 2012 actually passes with nothing happen I won't really get rid of ALL my fears.

Not necessarily. Obviously coming here and reading the information will help a great deal, but I'd also advise you to try and educate yourself, not only about the specific 2012 claims, but other forms of science, like astronomy, physics and astrobiology. You'll probably find by doing so you will develop a more sceptical view of life in general and rather than having to come here and ease your fears, you'll be able to recognise nonsense when you see it. Of coarse you are very welcome here, but if you feel like this silly hoax will nag at you regardless, I'd certainly recommend learning about science in general.
