sounds to me like he's desperately clinging on for a third strike, but as someone else mentioned in another thread, did he just decide to ditch all this "So called math." he used to get May 21?

Iv said it before this is just silly. He's actually going against his own prediction. You can't have the end of the world without the rapture according to him! I just rolled my eyes when I saw this thread, because I knew Camping would hold out hope for October, and I knew it was just a matter of how many would fall for it again.
It does help me gain insight into the questions I used to come here asking about PG though. How would somebody so sure be wrong and why would people believe him/them? Why would somebody give money to them, why would somebody go to the lengths of creating a group? Questions like those have been answered over and over again by this ordeal. People did all the same I was questioning and more for a fake religious prophet who has already been wrong before. I guess humans are just gullible when it comes to things like this.

Couldn't agree more, this is beyond silly now, we have wasted enough time on this garbage. I am generally a smart ass in real life, always have been. I have found myself a good many times not saying things on here I want to say and replacing it with nicer things because I don't want to be mean to somebody who is going through anxiety problems and having irrational fear because I have been there. But honestly, I think a good slap in the face can be beneficial to somebody like that as well.

Seriously, folks, I'm getting very grumpy over this Camping nonsense.
1) This is not a religious site. This site is secular, despite my personal faith. I decided to make it a secular site from the beginning, so that it could bring reason and science to bear on the question of a 2012 doomsday without any baggage about anybody's personal beliefs.
2) Camping is a lunatic whose ideas are rejected by the vast majority of the theologians trained in the religion he professes to speak for.
3) Camping's predictions have nothing to do with the 2012 doomsday hoax.
4) He was WRONG AGAIN.
Please, please, please get over it. I don't want to be the "topic Nazi", but I will if I have to. As of Wednesday I'll lock any thread related to Harold Camping and move it to the 'Off Topic' forum.
