This is something random, but from older posts of mine it seems some photographers may be here so I have a question.
Alright I have a cannon xs and I'm looking into getting a zoom lens. Does anyone have any suggestion? I'm looking for a decent (but thrifty) one. I know this is off from the website ,but I'm hoping someone has a suggestion I'm kinda stuck when finding one ,and anything I can find is on the expensive side I'm looking for $300-$700 range. =] Thanks for any help =]

Well, it really depends on what you're planning on doing with it. Our camera came with a 35-70mm zoom and a 70-200mm zoom. I think we've had the smaller one on the camera about once in five years.

well I'm looking for about a 70-200 I only have a standard lens ,and It's rather annoying lol.

I'm planning using it more for landscape pets, and portraits for the most part.

Actually yes ,but I wasn't having much luck
