hey i typed comet elenin on google plz do same and tell me what is good and what is bad and is the debnking of elenin on the utube vid a good 1 plz watch it

Ben, we don't really know what you're talking about. I've somewhat customized Google, so my results are probably going to differ slightly. I may get shown multiple debunking videos, which one do you want us to watch?
You'll need to be specific, or you'll need to do a bit of research yourself - our Elenin page has the latest accurate information there is. If whatever you find is wildly different, or says ridiculous things about it being a star or whatever, chances are it's a rubbish page, one to avoid.

I typed "Comet Elenin" on Google. The first result is a NASA's page. I don't need to say much else. NASA is the best page you can visit. The second result, Discovery News, is good as well. And it says:
"The effects of the comet on Earth at closest approach will be as inconsequential as that of a mosquito slamming head-on into an ocean-going supertanker […] Applying Isaac Newton’s laws of gravity, this means the comet's tidal pull on Earth — at closest approach — will be approximately one-hundred trillionth the force of the moon's tidal pull on Earth. And, we all now know that despite the dreaded Supermoon hype last week, there were no monster storms or earthquakes triggered by our satellite's gravitational tug at closest approach to Earth."

The third result is the Wikipedia page on Comet Elenin. Read if deemed necessary. The fourth result is from Space.com. It's a scientific article about the comet and its close approach this year.
I won't watch a 17 minutes video right now, because I don't have time for this. Someone else can debunk it later. I will continue with the results on the search.
Well, the fifth result is woo. An article called "Comet Elenin Update!" can't be serious. They claim things that we already debunked on the Per-page discussion on Elenin and the thread "Comet Elenin" in 'Comments'. Read these threads.
The sixth result, Spaceobs.org, I don't just deem it a reliable site, but it's a great reality-check. Not just an article, many articles debunking almost all the claims about the Comet Elenin. I loved it and I recommend it.
The seventh result, enn.com, it's a site about the environment. Ok, not astronomy, no astronomers, but news. And they say everything we know about Comet Elenin with Don Yeomans' quotes on the comet. They talk a lot about how to see the comet when it comes to the inner-solar system in 2011. Not bad, but not very interesting.
The eighth result… I had to laugh at "UFO Briefcase". The name tells you everything. They link Comet Elenin to natural disasters, and we already debunked this relation (see the Discovery News above).
The ninth result is an article full with conspiracy theories about the Comet Elenin. They even say that "media doesn't tell us anything about Comet Elenin". BS. If it was really harmful, the media would be annoying. But it isn't.
So this is the first page (at least on my computer). I hope you liked this debunkery.

SpaceObs.org is the website of the organization where Leonid Elenin, discoverer of Comet Elenin, is a member. They use an observatory at New Mexico Skies in the United States.
I might be way out of line here, but doesn't ben10's typing look rather similar to another posters?

Some people try to debunk elenin but some of them do a poor debunking , I think theres 1 video with a poor debunking , simply ignore it.

I think number 5 is a bad debunking of comet elenin that i saw before , anyways i dont wonna watch it again so I hope somebody else does.
