[citation needed] Vanga is a bit dead, so it's dead easy to make up predictions and attribute them to her. The Wikipedia article is a mess. I've occasionally tried to keep it in order, but it's hard due to the lack of reliable sources.

Awsomeee, you need to treat all claims of 'predicted' events in the past with the utmost suspicion. You will find all sorts of claims that prophet X predicted events Y and Z, but only after Y and Z have taken place. You will almost never find any confirmation that such a prediction ever existed before the event. If it did exist, it's almost invariably a vague prediction which could be made to fit in with a wide range of possible events (see Nostradamus).

Look at all the people who claim to have predicted 9/11. What a pity that none of them thought to mention it before it happened.

But was wrong about the World War III last year. The Hitler and World War II (predictable taking into account whereas the countries didn't forget the first World War, so the second one was overdue) ones were not made before the event take place, but after. Many prophets do that for attention and fame, because who doesn't want to be famous?
