My summer is going to be kind of busy
First, I am applying to my local police department.
In July, my older brother is getting married and I am a bridesmaid so I have a lot of showers and bacelorette parties to go to..
After the wedding, my family, boyfriend, and I are going to Cozumel, Mexico!!!!! =D =D SO eexcited! I love visting Mexico!
I will also be doing a lot of rock climbing and scuba diving as well as ballet, of course =)
Hopefully I will make it to our local theme parks (Busch Gardens or Kings Dominion)

Six flags is so fun. Got to go to the California one when I was visiting my sister and her husband there. My summer will consist of working all the time and taking the precious few trips to my husbands family cabin. Oh, and also get a week off from work in July for my birthday while my husband goes on a half US tour with his band (someone needs to take care of the kid).

I'm heading to sunny Spain with my girlfriend, and I'll be proposing. Yes, I'm terrified but I'm hoping the diamond ring dazzles her and she just says yes, my dad told me that would work, so if she says no it's his fault. Right?

Congrats! This your first?

Our summer is pretty full. We leave for Yosemite right after school lets out, then a couple of days in Sequoia, then home for a couple of weeks, then a week at Lassen, then back for a couple of weeks, with some assorted day-trips, and then back to school at the end of August.

Oh nothing too exciting, lol.

I am really hoping to have two jobs during the summer. Hopefully at least one can be full time! I had two jobs last year and it wasn't so bad at all… Time passed by quite fast though. I just want to save as much money as possible for my true goal which is an old Victorian Home… Probably one that will need a lot of work. lol!

In my free time I will be doing all of the cooking and cleaning as usual. Hehe… I live with a Tasmanian devil of a boyfriend! But he is learning slowly… If I have any free time after that I really hope to build the miniature home I have been planning on, hopefully have some spare change to go to the shooting range, go garage/yard sailing, and collect my cookbooks (it is an addiction!). That's about it.

Congrats to Gary for the wonderful proposal! (I know it will be great!) Also congrats to JamesJJim and his baby! Also… Congrats to DieselHorseLaw who will be getting married! This sounds like it will be a great summer for everyone!

If anyone is going to vacation/pass through the Middle Tennessee area, I am an expert on restaurants (where the locals eat) attractions, towns, bed and breakfasts, etc (I used to be a tour guide)… So if you want to know the best places to go, send me a message and I'll hook you up. Everyone have a great summer!!! It is already 100 degrees here in Middle TN!

Work, studying and taking care of my GF which is handicapped but one of the greatest person in this world.
And also doing more scientific research ;-)

And nope, I am not going to give a spoiler if I am a scientist or not ;-)
I can give a small clue that I do know that part of my research and work about 5 years ago was used and is probably still used for Mars exploration indirectly on Earth. ;-) But that is only a tiny part of my previous work.

We don't know. She feinted, woke up and could not speak anymore. Since the it got worse.
Currently she is stable for the last 7 years with small improvements.

She got her handicap long before my relationship with her.
In the beginning I doubted that I could support her, but now 7 years later it works perfectly and I am really happy that I have her.

Sounds like everybody has big plans for a good summer. I've always wanted to go to Europe, but it's getting to be less likely. My 2 little dogs get separation anxiety, so I usually only go where I can take them along (visiting my kids or my sister). Baby has been bounced around through 5 owners and she's afraid to let me out of her sight. Bella has never been away from me for more than a few hours since she was 11 weeks old. She's now 2 1/2. So I probably won't be going anywhere other than visiting family.
Congratulations to those getting married and having babies. Good luck to Gary on your proposal.

When it's winter here it's Summer there (northern hemisphere). In this winter, in July, maybe I go to Argentina. But I still don't know for sure what I'll do…
