I just set up a new series of Elenin images. Starting in about 1h45 if the weather is ok.
Elenin is getting lower than the horizon by the end of the month so I want to take some last ones if possible.
Not good weather to image Elenin today.
Maybe tomorrow, I will try again.
This one is from today. Elenin is that very feint fuzzy greenish thing near the centre a but up right from the 2 faint vertical reddish stars. http://www.slooh.com/viewsnap.php?img=2697473&s=8187&cid=13310&name=1&obs=1&date=1
Wow. It amazes me how such a small thing can cause such a hype.

Took today new Elenin images;
This is the first one in the series that I take now live.
Elenin is somewhere in the centre, but the movement in the next image planned will show which one is Elenin.

3 other live images are expected in the next 30 minutes
It seems that the first image in my previous message is located at the wrong position. It might be that the telescope did not point correctly, but next 3 images show something fuzzy moving at 25% from the left around a bit below the horizontal center. I think we see a tail but must still confirm this by analysing the images. I just snapped them.

You can easily see this by opening it in 3 different tabs on your browser and the alternate between them.
Edit: I added some comments to one of the images and can be found here. Like tail direction, movement direction and reference stars with their magnitude.
