Last time I checked it was a hair under 1000 unique visitors per day, with about a 75% returning visitor rate. I will pull the most recent stats later and post them.

As of today, our best day ever was May 20th, 2011, with 6,462 visits. We are currently averaging around 1,300 visits per day. Over the course of the last 30 days we have had 64,311 visits, with a new visitor ratio of 73.9% (I had that reversed above, roughly 3/4 of our daily traffic is new visits).

According to a website valuation tool, the domain 2012hoax.org is worth around $2,700 (which is why I was startled to receive an offer of roughly 5 times that number), and would generate about one-hundred dollars per month in revenue if monetized (in other words, if I hosted ads).

I'm grateful for every single visit to this site, and 1,300 per day is quite satisfying. Also remember that visitors may pass on to others what they've learnt here.

Yes, I agree. I mean it's depressing that, out of everything we've ever discussed here, the highest traffic in a day resulted from a crazy fundamentalist preacher claiming the end was nigh.

Next is "Apocalypse Island"

Then "solar flares 2012" and then various other terms like "nibiru" or "kiesha crowther".
