With Gary's last thread about music, I realized a few people have a similar taste in music with me. I don't know how far this thread is gonna go, because I know quite a bit of people who are very anti-put-holes-in-your-body. Anyway, was wondering if anyone has tattoos, piercings, or any other weird things - if so, how many? Include past piercings! It fascinates me to know what people do to their bodies.

Past:
Snake bites
Cartilage piercing on both ears
Double-industrial on my left ear

Currently:
Nose
Tragus
10mm lobes (nothing special, have to keep them small for teh jobz)
Second lobe piercing on both ears
1 tattoo on my shoulder/chest area
1 tattoo on the top of my right foot

If you want to provide pictures of your tattoos, I welcome them with open arms :D

I am very much pro-put-holes-and-ink-in-your-body, and I've always had an attraction for tattooed chicks, but I'm one of those cowards who never personally took the plunge. Even when I played in a band, I was hopelessly fashion-vanilla.

I've nothing to compare it to, but a tragus piercing, cool as the final product is, looks like it would be an unpleasant experience.

Hahaha. My dad doesn't like the tattoo I have on my chest, he says 'it detracts from your beauty' - lol my ass. My first tattoo was on the top of my foot, figured I'd go for one of the most painful spots (supposedly) and then leave everywhere else free game - was my graduation present. Tattoos and piercings are fine imo, but when you're 18 and have a sleeve and 1" lobes, there's a problem. I hate when teenagers don't think ahead - but hey, you only live once. I just wish I could do it and feel guilt-free lol.

Tragus is awesome, wasn't bad at all, I cussed a bit when they were putting in the earring, but that's about it. I have an exceptionally high pain tolerance - I love needles as well. My double industrial was the worst, 4 piercings in one sitting, at the top of my ear? Not fun. Not to mention it just developed a bunch of keloids, so I had to take it out.

I'm not really into tattoos or peircings, I have a small tattoo on my chest with my daughters name, it says "Chloe, the only lady I adore" in some fancy writing. Yes, I know, pass the sick bag eh. It's been there since she was born in 2002 and it's the only modification I have or ever will have. Piercings look cool on others, I just don't think I'd suit it to be honest.

I have in my right ear one cartilage (more near the middle of the ear), one Travis and two lobe piercings. Left ear two cartilage and two lobe. I want a tattoo on the side of my ribs and only wrist.my father always said if I got anything pierced other than my earthed rip it out and if I got a tattoo he would sand it off with sandpaper. Hahaha he's gotten used to my piercings so when I move out I'm prolly going to get a tattoo. My friends and boyfriend all have some andim jealous. Haha

Haha, my dad was the same way. He freaked out when I got my second lobe piercing, and didn't know I started stretching my ears until he saw my plugs laying around - that definitely set him over edge, but him and my mom are used to it. My mom doesn't mind what I do, she'd rather me express myself freely, than be out doing drugs and things like that. I plan to get something on my wrist, I just don't know when or what.

I'm not into that stuff at all… I got my ears pierced as a baby and that's all for me. I remember a couple girls at school would pierce their own tongues in the bathroom… Yuck!!! Anyhow… I still think it's cool if other people like it… I would like to see some of you folks post pics of your tattoos! Does anyone on here have an anti-2012 tattoo yet?? Hehe.

I have quite a few tattoos by now, and look forward to some new ones by the end of the summer. I've always been fascinated with tattoos of all kinds, which have resulted in a quite wide variety of tattoos. Among quite a few, the ones that matter the most to me is my brothers and sisters name on the inside of my biceps. One tattoo that I realy look forward to is one dedicated to my grandfather that passed away a few years ago (it's going to be quite a large back-piece that stretches all the way to my shoulders).

The tattoo I have on my chest is for my grandmother, she passed away. It's a blue swallow, with purple wings - we both shared a birthday in February, so I got them the color of our birthstone (will be adding blue wings to make it even'd out) - it's holding a vine of daisies (I know daisies don't grow on a vine, but it worked for what I was going for) I drew it up, the tattoo artist turned it into a more.. rockabilly style O.o

This is about a year old, it's the best picture I have of my tattoo. I deleted the one I had of my foot. Don't feel like cropping.

That is actually pretty good, like I said I'm not much for tatoo's but I like that one. My girlfriend has a tatoo of a dolphin on her stomach and it really sucks, it looks like a goldfish doing a backflip. Yours is obviously done by a good artist, very nice.

Thanks. I'm worried about it turning into a colored blob when I get older, but I try my best to take care of it. I plan on adding more, Lilly(ies) and some other things, going onto my back - I just haven't had the time to draw up something I want. I can't go to a tattoo artist and tell them what I want, I feel like a tattoo should be something I put effort into. Goldfish doing a backflip.. ahh that's great. I want something on my side, but that'll have to come after I lose weight LOL

That is a very cute tattoo! I don't like a lot of them, but one or two is okay. I will be getting one on my wrist within the next two years of my sons initials SMH III. Very excited for that!!

Had to take my snakebites out, mother didn't take to them too well - haha. I'm considering going up to 7/16" but probably nothing more than that. I like still being able to fool people with the fact that my ears are stretched. Not to mention, big ear lobes wouldn't fly in the nursing field.

I know no one in a good paying job that has a visible tattoo or piercing.

Having a visible tattoo or a piercing might work against you for having a good paying job.
Yes you light find this unfair, but reality is never fair.
I would probably triple my wage if I were not that nice guy.

Nothing is visible on my except my nose and tragus piercing, both of which can be covered. My tattoo does not show unless I have on a tank-top or revealing shirt, both of which I never wear. My ears can close, done it twice before. I've heard plenty of lectures.

That they do not, Juju. I hear about it on a daily basis, no exaggeration. Obae, you're probably right. I'm assuming you don't live in the US, since you said that? Some states here are more lenient than others when it comes to piercings/tattoos - CA and NY for example. Try going to the bible belt looking like some people, and all hell will break loose. I live in the more city part of VA, so it's not uncommon to see people with tattoos and a lot of piercings.
