Should we be scared of climate change? Because the talk of the climate changes are scaring me for some particular reason.
And can someone tell me when the weather is going to change in Texas? Its like over 100 degrees over here.

Not scared but we should care.

The good news is that we have to develop newer cleaner technologies and in the end this will give us clearer air, clearer water clearer land.
We might even go to a point that we reverse all pollution that happened in the last 200 years with this new technologies over the period of the next 100 years.

I was told it was going to get hotter in the winter too, by my cousin. :/

EDIT : What if the Ice cap melts! Ahhh!!! Rising sea levels AH!!!!!
whats also scary is the Sea level part……….

Hey KAM1,
The global AVERAGE temperatures are rising very slowly. It isn't anything to fear yet, only as Juju said, we should be concerned enough to try to do something about it. It will be a very long time before there is any appreciable rise in sea level. Only very low lying coastal areas and islands will be affected within the next 100 years.

The north polar ice cap is in the ocean, so if and when it melts, it won't change sea levels. The ice that will cause sea level rise if melted is in glaciers and Antarctica, but that will be a slow process. There is nothing to fear from this for a long time, probably not in your lifetime.

As for your 100+ temperatures, that's what happens in the hottest part of the summer.

Think how many climate changes the human species has survived in the roughly 200,000 years. There's a lot of hype over this issue for various reasons. Taking this along with 2012, the biblical apocalypse, and various other doomsday predictions, we can conclude that humans, for some reason, love apocalypses. They must serve some kind of cultural or psychological purpose for us—perhaps motivation for change?

BTW, climate change is just that—change. There is absolutely no evidence that it is bad or good. speculation goes both ways. And that's just speculation.

People worry about it too much , But like alene said it takes a long time , Its not like filling up you'r bathtub with water wich would take 5 minitutes

I would not say "scared". Instead, you should be "concerned". But there are reasons to celebrate. Lots of things have been done to stop the climate changes.

Because the talk of the climate changes are scaring me for some particular reason.

It's a slow process, but causing big effect on the life. Ice melting, loss of biodiversity, deforestation… These are problems we should stop if we want our planet to be "healthy".

And can someone tell me when the weather is going to change in Texas? Its like over 100 degrees over here.

It's summer in Texas.
