Aparently scientists have discovered that one day a mega-tsunami will destroy the coast of america. Do they know when?
Scientists seems a bit vague. Any source?

Sorry, here's the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hhNHeAFdsUw
I realize it's a youtube link but it's from a discovery channel documentry.
I think I've seen this before, but I'll have to watch to make sure=) If my mind serves me right the mega-tsunami is caused by impact events or landslides, whereas a normal tsunami is caused by tectonic activity. Since no impacts are expected to happen any time soon, and since landslides per definition is more or less unpredictable, I think it's safe to say that they do not know when/if one will happen. Furthermore, and most importantly, this is not something that I would be losing any sleep over.
One thing to remember is that Discovery have an increasing habbit of acting almost as sensationalistic as History Channel, so it's best to take most things on there with a pinch of salt. They do actually tend to over-hype things more and more, which is sad to be honest.

Why did they say increase in seismic activity? I thought it didnt increase?
And whats the deal with this mega-tsunami thing.
I'd like you to pay particular attention to this part:
There is no indication at present that the low magnitude seismic activity is a precursor to any significant volcanic activity or, indeed, stronger earthquake activity.
Also, it says these apparent earthquakes measured between 1 and 3 on the richter scale. That's pretty low and considering the canary islands are stock full of volcanos and seismic activity, this could be classed as slightly unusual, but certainly not a reason for concern.
The great thing about science is, it's true whether you believe in it or not.
