First of all, did you notice how that video had a spooky-sounding BG? This is a scare tactic used to make whatever is going on in the video seem more sinister than it actually is. Here's an unaltered version of the speech.

If you pay attention, he's basically trying to plug a book about what he thinks the future will be like. This type of speculative thinking is nothing new - it's just that this type of unbridled optimism hasn't been seen in several decades.
