I was thoroughly bored by the appeal to emotion and went by my unwritten 'first claim rule': If the first claim made is demonstrably false, what follows will in all likelihood be false too. The first claim was the easily falsified 'Galactic alignment' nonsense (a couple of pages regarding that in the sidebar here), and if that's the basis of every other claim to follow, it's like building on quicksand - you're not going to end up with a sturdy building.
