On tv there have been a lot of shows on the end of the world and I watched one of them and it really scared me because the people that were talking on it made housing for people when 2012 comes. They cost millions to reserve a room and on the show they actually showed the rooms so it's not like they're made up. It really really scared me. Are the rooms/housing real? Why would they make the rooms if 2012 isn't real?

Because they are con artists scaring people into buying useless and unnecessary survival equipment and places in bunkers that will never be used. If it's the show I'm thinking of, they actually admit this.

They didn't actually show properly fitted out rooms for living, they just had a tour round an old nuclear missile silo, unchanged from cold war days with its rusty old doors and fittings. Whether they will ever get around to fitting these out properly is debatable, in my opinion

Why would they make the rooms if 2012 isn't real?

Ask yourself this: Why would they need the money?

It is obvious that they don't believe in it themselves, they are just taking advantage of the guillable people who always fall for doomsday claims and will continue to fall for them after 2012.
