The "Mayan Prophecy"
Ok, so a lot has been said about the so-called Mayan Prediction, most of it by non-Maya people, but even some of the Maya people have bought into the whole 2012 thing.
According to National Geographic, the Mayan prediction on Tortuguero monument 6 says:
The thirteenth baktun will end on the day 4 Ajaw; 3 K’ank’in; Will occur the descent of the god Bolom Yokté.
That's it. That's what all the fuss is about, apparently.
Go figure.
