Here's a fun competition with a generous prize which will be quite hard to win.
"OK, its time to put up or shut up.
This is a rather simple challenge for Nibiru / PX enthusiasts.
If you can prove the existence of this elusive celestial body then you are free to enter the challenge.
All you have to do is provide the 5 forms of evidence that is asked for in the video and you will Win a Celestron Nexstar SE-8 and accessories. The first in with confirmed confirmed evidence of the approved kind wins. Its that simple. This is $3000 worth of equipment. Watch the approach of the destroyer from the relative discomfort of your own back yard!!.
The following evidences are not admissible.
1] Claims that it is behind the Sun. Reason: Earths orbit is Elliptical, nothing can stay behind the Sun for very long because of this.
2] Claims that it cannot be seen by conventional methods. Reason: If it is as close as claimed, no IR would be needed to view it.
3] Claims that it can only be seen from the south pole. Reason: There is no such thing. If it can be seen from the south pole then the entire southern hemisphere can see it (and parts of the northern hemisphere depending on its supposed coordinates).
4] Claims that it is cloaked or otherwise disguised will be Ignored. Reason: If you have to ask you dont belong here.
To win, you MUST provide:
1] A predicted Orbit for the Celestial Body
2] Testable RA/DE coordinates which correspond to the predicted orbit.
3] Visual confirmation that matches the coordinates given.
4] Provide a Mass for the celestial Body that corresponds to the Visual confirmation.
5] Demonstrate Perturbation which is relative to the Mass given for the Celestial Body.
If you can provide those 5 things and they are confirmable by my team of Amateur Astronomers then you Win the package. Thats all there is to it.
Anyone who is rude is immediately disqualified and removed from the discussion.
Judges word is final.
This challenge closes on Sept 1, 2012.
Have fun and Happy Hunting. Θ ☼ ≡Δ≡ "
