** Of course, this discussion accepts that *no* worldwide disasters are going to happen on that date **
(Since there is absolutely zero scientific evidence to backup any of the crazy claims, and the ancient Maya people didn't predict anything bad. There is nothing bad in their culture (or today's Maya culture) regarding baktun number changes.)

I'm in New Zealand which is one of the first countries to see the new day because it is close to the imaginary International Date Line that runs down the center of the Pacific Ocean. (ie. NZ is west of the line.)
So I'll start in New Zealand at midnight between Thursday, December 20, and Friday, December 21.
One of the doomtards' problems is that it's summer in the Southern Hemisphere (on that date), and a number of southern countries add one hour to their times for Daylight Saving. Who knows if any of them have thought of that? .. Anyway, let's ignore Daylight Saving in the meantime - pretend it doesn't exist.
New Zealand - Thurs/Friday midnight (NZST). (1am NZDT)
The equivalent times are :-
Sydney, Australia - Thursday 20th, 10:00pm (EST). (11pm EDT)
New Delhi, India - Thu., 5:30pm.
Rome, Italy - Thu., 1:00pm.
London, England - Thu., 12:00 noon.
New York, USA - Thu., 7:00am (EST).
Houston, Texas, USA - Thu., 6:00am (CST).
Los Angeles, Cali., USA - Thu., 4:00am (PST).
Honolulu, Hawaii - Thu., 2:00am (HAST).
Midnight in New Zealand happens 22 hours before it does in Hawaii.
When Hawaii reaches midnight between Friday, December 21, and Saturday, December 22, it is :-
Los Angeles, Cali., USA - Sat. 22nd, 2:00am (PST).
Houston, Texas, USA - Sat., 4:00am (CST).
New York, USA - Sat., 5:00am (EST).
London, England - Sat., 10:00am.
Rome, Italy - Sat., 11:00am.
New Delhi, India - Sat., 3:30pm.
Sydney, Australia - Sat., 8:00pm (EST). (9pm EDT)
New Zealand - Sat., 10:00pm (NZST). (11pm NZDT)
New Zealand will have seen 22 hours of the new date (Dec.22) before Hawaii has even started it!
This means that I will be waiting for 1 day and 22 hours, from Thurs/Fri midnight to Sat. 10pm (NZST), for the countries of the world to see the whole of their Friday, Dec. 21 (except for the remaining 2 hour zone between Hawaii and the Date Line).
(Hmm, I hope I've got that right!)

PS. ….
NZST = NZ Standard Time.
EST = Eastern Standard Time (Australia).
