I've read around the forum that some proponents (Patrick Geryl I think) had changed their doomsday dates, is that true?

So, he did actually?. I read that he had changed his date to 13/13/13, thats why I was like… WTF?

A documentary about crazy people doing crazy doomsday preparations (which is a very funny documentary), they showed Patrick Geryl in his bunker site where he was planning to build it. I believe many of his followers already plan to hide in that bunker.
Changing his date to next year is the worst thing he can do right now.

Honestly I don't know what the NatGeo pretends doing this, don't they see that some people can freak out to the extreme to suffer really health problems?

I'm not sure if I saw it on NatGeo. But, anyway, in that one they didn't make any claim. They just showed people, mentally-ill people, preparing for some kind of doomsday. The documentary sometimes even debunks what these people claim.
However, yes, NatGeo does affect people very badly with the 2012 documentaries. That's what happens when you put money in front of your eyes. You can't see people suffering.

I said NatGeo because of the post in 'News' that Astrogeek posted :)
Here in spain these programs you talk about are aired in private channels, I dn't have them but my sister does, and she talked to me about them, she laughs but I kind of feel sad for these people, and for myself because I can't help but feelfear :S

At least now I can talk bout it and don't get nervous.
