The NASA G+ page have just stuck up an event for a hangout on Wednesday 28th Nov, 19:00 UTC. The panel consists of David Morrison (astrobiologist), Don Yeomans (asteroid scientist), Mitzi Adams (archaeoastronomer), Lika Guhathakurta (heliophysicist), Paul Hertz (astrophysicist), and Andy Fraknoi (science educator).
Hangouts, for those who don't know, are pretty much public Skype calls, so expect a bunch of NASA folks having a chat about all manner of 2012 topics. Questions can be asked via both G+ and Twitter, and if they're smart ('tis NASA after all) they'd save it all and throw up a YouTube link for people not on G+ to watch.
So if you want to hear what we've been telling you for a good few years from the horses mouth, and you have a Google account, go hangout.
And if Astro is reading, maybe he'll finally post something on the 2012hoax page. Really, we love Google+. Nobody drones on and on about 2012, you have to actively search for it in order to find anything. Marvellous.
I'll be updating as and when anything happens. Which it just did. Seamless.
