wow, i cant believe people are this stupid. i mean i understand its only a week away, but why do people address themselves as "professional scientists" when they are on yahoo? this 2012 thing is bullsh*t at school today the school newspaper was talking abut 2012 and why we need to prepare now. :I I HAVE [FLIPDIPPITYDANGNABBIT] HAD IT WITH THESE CLAIMS!!! annunaki or wtf you call it, meteors, FAILbiru (nibiru) and 11:11am. this crap has to stop. >:( first we had kids die from a shooting to doomsayers enjoying children killing themselves from listening to there claims. man, humanity is evil sometimes.

In case you hadn't noticed, the boards are already flooded, so threads like this just get in the way. You comment about once a week if you're lucky, try wading through all of these threads to get to the ones that really matter every day then tell me to just "not reply" ok boss?

It's actually an article on Space.com by Mike Wall and nothing to do with Yahoo apart from that they've just reproduced it on their site, as they do with many other articles from various sources.

Note that the words "Mayan Apocalyspe" in the title are in quotation marks, which means it's not the article writer's view and he's just quoting the view of the doomsayers. And in the article itself, to be honest I can't see anything scary at all in it because it correctly reassures people that the claims are nonsense and not supported by science.

So what is it about the article that scares you Donovan?

But articles on the web are usually open to comments, so the chances are there will be some retarded ones and it's still not the fault of the article writer. You said before that you had got over your fears from Youtube videos and nutty websites etc, so what's different about this, that made it worth starting a thread about?
