They are reporting live in France where people ae supposed to be heading to, but then when thgey speak to experts, in going insane, flood warnings are in place, and more rain to come, they still seem to be taking it like fun on the news by the looks of it. But with the rain here, places are flooding, im getting even more worried :(
Floods are Floods. I used to live in the northside of Dublin (Baldoyle) and we used to get huge floods all the time. So why are you worried about floods. Will they affect you?
hey ade32
are you actually in any of the places the flood warning are in place at?
tomorrow there is actually only one little area that is at medium risk of flooding.
there have been floods before in the uk and so it isn't anything new.
im in the uk too and it isn't raining much at all where i am.
you need to take a deep breath and work out where this panic and fear is actually getting you….
is it changing the world, will it have any effect on anything around you?
you have two daughters right, they are what matter and you have to remain strong and calm for them.
when things get really bad in your mind you need to focus on the good things in your life.
the right here,right now.
nothing bad is happening right now and so the worry is not necessary.
i truly know how hard it is for you and am trying to keep a lid on my own anxiety, the only thing that really helps is living in this moment, and as long as you and your family are healthy, you have heat, food and water then its not all bad at all.
stay strong
Don't worry, floods happens all the time. I'm in France, and right now, it's not even raining, there's just light grey clouds, with some sun sometimes. There was just some rain yesterday but it last like 30 minutes. LOL
I'm 5 miles away from the floods which occurred in Wallington, Hampshire, which you may have seen on TV. And I'm still here. Right next to the River Wallington is the Cob & Pen pub which looks like it will have a real Cob & Pen swimming up to the door before long.

The photographer is standing on the bridge which has been shown on TV as having a torrent of water up to the parapet.
I'm in the UK (somewhere off in Yorkshire) and we get floods pretty much every year. And really it's not all that suprising, cause it's England. It's winter. We get rain.
Seriously, have you ever been to Manchester and seen it NOT RAINING?
This is pretty much entirely normal.
When I seen this on the news, they said beleivers are heading for the french mountains, they mentioned somthing about UFOs etc, it looked like they were trying to hide the laughing, this did calm me a little bit.
There are really few people that goes to this french mountain (Bugarach). There's a village of 200 people living here, and police blocked the road. They say it can resist to the planet alignement, and so, to the UFO as you say. They rent hotel rooms at high price. And again, there's not even floods in France, right now, the sun even bright a little bit.
You have nothing to worry about, it's just a way for medias to have attention. ;)
When I seen this on the news, they said beleivers are heading for the french mountains
In only a few hours all these loonies will feel very stupid and all TV camera's will record these loonies and will become the hallmark of stupidity for many decades to come.
So the media are thinking all these people heading there are wacko basicly?
Medias just talk about it to fear some people, and to be interesting. Only this week, I think I saw like 6 short documentaries about Bugarach. They make it to develop people interest for this village. Honestly, they talk about it since only one or two months.
And again, don't worry, it's all a hoax. :)
Floods happen all the time! Sadly some idiot in the UK government decided to allow properties, roads and railways to be built on flood plains, which are spaces of land around bodies of water which were originally intended to allow rivers to burst their banks without causing too many problems. However, since building on these areas of land has been allowed, the problem of flooding has become so much worse over the last few years. So really, we are not seeing an increase in flooding, but an increase in the number of human dwellings effected by flooding.
Also as for the 'French mountain' thing, that is a tiny village in France called Burgurach, which has an adjacent mountain, which some loony new age groups thought contained a hidden UFO which was going to spirit them all away from Earth when the fake cataclysm began. Only a select few loonies went to the extent of actually going there during December 2012, and made it very uncomfortable for those living in the village, to the point where the French decided to limit the numbers of people in the village who were not resident there.
