after 6:12 am tommorow eastern time does that mean i survived the "apocalypse"
EST, yes… another "apocalypse" survived. 6:11:37 to be exact!…yes, ladies and gentlemen, its just.. that.. dumb.
When will i "survive" if i live in UTC-5
When this is all over, there going to be saying its going to end in 2013
6:11:37 per ehkz. US Eastern Std Time is UTC-5. http://www.islandnet.com/~see/weather/almanac/seasondate.htm

When this is all over, there going to be saying its going to end in 2013
6:11:37 a.m. See link for explanation. http://www.islandnet.com/~see/weather/almanac/seasondate.htm
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it 6pm eastern time?
The link (http://www.islandnet.com/~see/weather/almanac/seasondate.htm) uses 24hr clock:
Event | Date (2012) | Time UTC |
---|---|---|
Vernal (Spring) Equinox | March 20 | 05:14 |
Summer Solstice | June 20 | 23:09 |
Autumnal Equinox | September 22 | 14:49 |
Winter Solstice | December 21 | 11:12 |
11:12 UTC = 06:12 Eastern Std Time (UTC-5hrs).
So what time, by UK time, would it be safe for me to say 'i've survived'?
Do a web search for UTC, you'll find a site that allows you to select the date and time in UTC and wherever you are from. The site I found doesn't allow you to put in exact minutes but you'll get an idea.
Followed your advice and found this. Looks helpful. Seems to give time for the user's choice of UTC or his own locale.
mine wont load… so, just to get this straight… its "meant" to happen at 11:11am correct? im in brisbane australia, its the 21st and my time is 11:26am. what time should it mean for me?
thats very interesting, as the "9:11" things keeps coming up as something signifigant -_-
