It is 11:00 mountain time right now which means that it is December 21st for the Mayans! Nothing too interesting is happening right now. I should be in bed, but this is something that I want to stay up for. However, if I get at least and hour less of my average sleep time, I will be extra cranky tomorrow. UGH! I hate when my parents set bedtimes for me!
I used to hate going to bed at 9:00 at night when I went to school. But I'm 26(Going on 27), so I'll probably be on the forums a little longer. It's 1:30 in the morning, and I'm feeling great. I'm still going to be on here no matter how tired I get.
I only went to bed about an hour too late last night. I am more tired than usual this morning. I was also having trouble sleeping because I was so anxious for today, and kept hearing sounds from outside such as cars, trucks, planes, etc. I freaked out whenever I heard a motorcycle or something like that :P
yeah i know what you mean i was anxiously awaiting a giant earthquake all day :(
Thank christ its all over now ^^
When you posted that, it wasn't actually all over. NOW it is all over, because now it is 11:11 for the Mayans, and they knew nothing of any other part of the world.
I have a friend who studies History at the university and he says that the supposed end of the world is tomorrow - 22nd - in the early morning +1 GMT, even if it's a lie. This hasn't finished yet! Lol.
meh, where did he come up with that
Mesoamericanists know what that's happening, the "end of the world" is something that a stupid person wrote in a book to make money by scaring the people and to fool the world, but according to the Mayan stela that has been found recently, the date in our calendar is between 21 and 23, nothing more.
That's what he was explaining to me. He like this subject.
Must add that he was in a conference about the end of the world of his professor at the university. We're going to meet up tomorrow and he'll explain me more. It's interesting.
What he probably meant is that the New Cycle is supposed to beggin sometime between today and December 23rd.
Not apocalyptic, though. Just a new and happy age.
That's what I meant. I didn't mean it in an apocalyptic way, lol.
When it's 22nd early in the morning here (+1 GMT), in Mexico it'd be still the 21st, so when the sun rises in Mexico the next day, it'll be the happy new Baktun.
I hope I explained myself, because I'm mentally exhausted and I can't speak English properly since it isn't my first language.
well you did say "the end of the world"
the supposed end of the world is tomorrow - 22nd - in the early morning +1 GMT, even if it's a lie.
Sorry if someone misunderstood me ;P
so when the sun rises in Mexico the next day, it'll be the happy new Baktun.
Most scholars agree the new b'ak'tun already began today. Anything that could ever happen because of that already happened (i.e. nothing). :-)
Sent this link to your friend: http://www.youtube.com/watch?nomobile=1&v=32UGD0fV45g
21 Dec came and went. Anyone promoting another date is just a fool.
I love that troll video…lol
Its like Daniel O Donnell making Tea for his fans….
I actually start to really like the song. (You get used to it after 20 times)
And it stays in your head all day :-)
I want to make this clip have 1,000,000,000 views buy 22 Dec. :-)
… I'm not going to send that link. He's not a doomtard neither am I. It's been said in a conference about the end of the world. I wasn't meaning another apocalypse tomorrow.
Maybe you should clarify what you mean with "end of the world".
The end of the world in the conference? The professor of my friend organised a conference about the Mayans and the end of the world to debunk it. And also explained things about the Mayan culture.
He was joking.
The Maya are already celebrating today.
