Why the hell do ppl keep saying well the day isnt over so we cant b sure..wtf in some places its already the 22nd! Its after 1 where i live and there is nothing going on that is unusual people keep putting on Facebook that the 21st isn't over yet so technically we won't know for sure until midnight..ugh so annoying

Because they have worked themselves up to the point where they are living in constant fear. They will keep working themselves up when this is completely past. Yes, it is sad. But these dates will never go away. There will be more. I can only hope that those who are still letting their fear control them will seek professional help. If they do not, the next date will consume them just as this one did.

This statement pretty much sums it all up:

The time will come when people will not listen to sound doctrine, but will follow their own desires and will collect for themselves more and more teachers who will tell them what they are itching to hear. They will turn away from listening to the truth and give their attention to legends.

(I found this on the Washington Post) and was thinking that's pretty much human nature.
