I'v never posted anything on this site before. The 21st has been a terrifying date for me for years. When I originally found this site it made me feel better, so when my anxiety is at its worst I read through the threads. Tonight, just as I was beginning to over come the horrible fear that has been controlling my life for such a long time, I felt a little more anxiety so figured I'd pop on here for more reassurance. I couldn't believe it when I read posts that it's been changed to the 23rd, I feel right back to where I started again! I'm leaving this page tonight wishing I hadn't bothered looking. I think the people posting these 'new dates' should give it a rest now. I'm starting to wonder if we have a few trolls.

It hasn't been changed to the 23rd. Rest assured that the Mayan calendar started its new cycle today. Many on here have warned for years that SOME Doomsdayers would change their date. But many of the Doomsdayers have already conceded defeat. The Mayans were not in the business of predicting anything and never mentioned anything about Doomsday related to this date or any other day.

There was an older calendar discovered and this one NEVER ends really.

People will continue to try to look for new dates, but don't pay attention to them. Especially to the ones on this forum claiming new dates… they are desperate nasty trolls.

The 23rd is just a sign that the doomtards are retreating.

You're completely right. I don't understand why they would go searching for this further information. The first I heard of it was on here.

I'm not sure why that was hard to believe. Looks like the regulars here have been telling people to expect that.

I'm starting to wonder if we have a few trolls.

Regulars told us to expect that too.

Now that the regulars were right about no doomsday on the 21st, and right about how the doom mongers would just move the date back in response, how about trusting the regulars and signing off to get a good night's sleep? :)

The people talking about it here appear to be people that are really scared.
For them it us very hard to accept that the doom is over. They are so used to this site to help them that it is hard for them to let go. I do understand this. But the number of people coming here is dropping this site is ending as a active site.

No one can take the 23rd seriously after the failure of the 21th.
It is even pointless to debunk any future doom dates.

I think most people on here are genuinely scared, I too am finding it very hard to just sweep it under the carpet. I just don't understand where they have got this further information from?. If they were so scared, why go searching for more? On here is the first place I heard about the new date.

Hey Tanya,
We always expected them to fall back to the 23rd. The important thing is, these claims are lies and fantasy no matter how many times the doomtards change the date.

There will always be trolls…please dont worry, look around you, it is all fine the 22,23,24,25….. will all be fine - dont read posts when the title looks scary to you, and remember the trolls have nothing left in their sad little word they have to hang on to somthing… enjoy Christmas you will be here for a long time yet.

Yes, I know what they ate doing. I think if they had made it in a few months time I wouldn't have worried, just carried on as normal and forgot all about it. But they have made it so close, I haven't had chance to get over this one and now we are being told once again we only have days left. I don't believe it, but the anxiety came flooding straight back. I don't think anyone should have posted about it on here.

Well, the purpose of the site is to deal with doomsday claims related to 2012, so if folks come here worried now about the 23rd the moderators would have a hard time seeing their way clear to keep them from posting. BTW, did you see my earlier post?

Any claims made for the 23rd are just 2 days more bogus than claims about the 21st.

Scared people tend to post claims.
And some scared people really gave a barrage of links and claims for many weeks in a row before they finally realized that it could never have been true.

Every single claim has already been debunked many times over and over again.
Altering the date won't make the doom any more true. They all fail.

They all fail because the people promoting it have proven to make it up as they go and have no basis in reality whatsoever.

In 1994 Harold Camping said there was a rapture of good people and then the world would be destroyed. When it didn't happen he claimed he miscalculated the date, and after a few years of hiding, he came up with May 2011. When that "rapture" didn't happen he claimed he wasn't wrong, the rapture was "spiritual" not literal, but the end would DEFINITELY come in October. When October came and went… he gave up, mostly because he had a stroke and his health has gone down hill since then.

However, before he stopped, he milked believers for all the money they had.

Followers of Camping, Ebible Fellowship, truly believed he was onto something and after calculations of their own… they came up with another "end date". When that date passed without issue… they too gave up.

That's how this works. When the date is a dud, you move on. When the 23rd is up… they'll move onto 2013. It's what they do. They prey on those who are fearful to make money. That's what sites like this one exist for.

bless you…ive just come back on this morning its 4 am in the uk and all is good,no blackouts or anything,im just soo happy its all over but i do get where your coming from :)
