LOL!
'sup, Don the man!?
How have you been? I was just thinking of you the other day. You have got to be feeling so relieved now that the "big day" (LOL) has come and gone without so much as a hitch?
How does it feel knowing the wind just hit your back? Pretty good, huh?
I hope you got some good Christmas plans this year?
yeah i do actually. :D im getting a telescope for christmas. :) and im inviting my friends over for my birthday, because my party was postponed. :I and im also doing something for my youtube channel, were doing a parody of jackass. were not doing any stunts where you get hurt you know like wedgie bounce things like that. :P were doing like hot sauce challenge, and my friend wanted to do the thumbtack chair. O_o i said, "how about no?" i dont want me or any of my friends getting hurt. :L
Coolnees!!
I knew you would be fine, and doing well now. I am just glad to hear it.
I remember me and my friends used to do crazy stuff when we were kids too. Only we were usually playing pranks to get even. Oh man the stories I could tell. LOL!
Me, I am just hanging out close to home this holiday. I just don't feel like dealing with all of the holiday traffic around here, especially now with the storm system we have moving through the area right now which is pretty crazy. So instead, I just went down to a little French cafe near my house, had a latte and some fresh pastries with nutella.
Ah, nothing like the smell of fresh baked bread in a cafe of a cold stormy day! :)
After New Years, I will drive down to Santa Cruz to visit with my dad which will be super cool. He and are are good buds, and even if we were not father and son, I know he and I would still be friends which is a really cool thing that I thank God for every day. He and I have some of the best conversations, and we are in to allot of the same things like computers, music, current events, etc. We even like allot of the same bands. For instance, both of us are raging Hawkwind fans. LOL!
im also a big fan of the following things: Portal the video game, airsoft, trance and oldies music.
There is allot of trace stuff I like too like The Future Sound of London, or even some Enigma. …especially Enigma!! Michael Cretu is a genius!! I just love music in general — There is very little of it that I do not like.
…trance…
Donovan, it seems we have something in common.
this song i found on youtube is the most kickass rave trance i ever heard. :)
NICE!!
I liked it.
Here is something you might enjoy; It is on one of my compilation CDs that I have had for almost 20 years now (LOL) called Trance Europe Express, a play on the title of the Kraftwerk song Tans Europe Express.
i listened to it, i liked it, sounds like a song that belongs in a mortal kombat game
I think some of Juno Reactor's songs were used in that movie. I cannot remember it was so long ago. Never saw the film though, but I remember these kids getting in to Juno Reactor after that movie, and I was like "Man! Where were you kids a few years ago when I bought their first album, Transmissions?" LOL!
I remember saying the same thing when Sarah McLachlan got popular in the 90s. I remember her before she got famous when she sang for a Boston based Industrial/EBM band called Manufacture for the song, As The End Draws Near back in 1988.
My older brother used to have this friend way back when that was a club DJ so I got to hear allot of cool stuff back in the 80s and 90s; 808 State, Robotiko Rejekto, Fatal Morgana, Micro Chip League…
LOL! That reminds me; a few months back, I was at the ATM getting some money out, and I totally had "New York" by The Mico Chip League stuck in my head, and singing the part where the vocoder says "New York New York New York."
I was a little shocked when I realized there was this guy behind me that heard me. He just laughed and then so did I. He actually recognized the tune and then said to me "Yeah, I remember that from my club days back in the 80s." LOL! That was cool — no harm no foul.
i like juno reactor. :D because his songs were in the matrix. :) or was it terminator? i dont remember.
Actually, Juno Reactor was used in The Matrix. They teamed up with composer Dan Davis for some of the music score.
The best from the Matrix was Fluke, which was in the second movie, The Matrix Reloaded in that party scene at Zion about ¼th of the way through the movie. The song was originally named "Slap It" but was renamed to "Zion" simply to fit the film.
Killer song, it could have been a few minutes longer.

All the times I have cruised down the mountain from Russian Ridge at night to that song. LOL!
If you like Juno Reactor as I do, have you ever heard their first album, Transmissions? If not, I highly recommend it. "High Energy Protons" is one of my favorite JR tunes! Another good album from them I really like also, is their third album, Beyond The Infinite.
i gotta head to bed. :L its 10:22 here in the valley. goodnight. happy holidays.
Merry Christmas, Donovan.
Have a happy and safe one, and all the best to you and yours!
Has anyone seen any Youtube videos appearing yet about the non-doomsday at the end of the new Mayan Long Count Calendar, in about 5,128 years time?
Pobody's nerfect
LOL!
The Mayans are going to want to really SLAUGHTER the doomtards now.
I mean, didn't they used to sacrifice virgins at some point in history?
LMAO!
I'm luven' it!
